Scentos Markers Are Fun for Drawing and Collecting
My son loves scented markers. We have a complete set of Mr. Sketch scented markers, but he prefers the Scentos markers for drawing because they seem to have a stronger scent and the pointed tip is a bit easier to work with than the chiseled tip of Mr. Sketch markers.
My favorite part of the Scentos markers is that each one is decorated with its own unique face. Most of the markers have a monster design, but you can find special edition Scentos like a snowman, elf, gingerbread man, or Santa for Christmas. This makes them collectible as well as functional, so they’re great for stuffing in stockings or Easter baskets or giving as a small reward for good behavior.
I’ve purchased most of our Scentos markers at Walmart, but I have found some of the seasonal designs at a Dollar Tree store. They are usually $1 per marker, but Walmart will sometimes have multipacks that offer a slight discount.
All Scentos markers are supposed to be washable, although I’ve heard some parents complain that they can be hard to remove from your child’s skin. My son is past the stage of drawing on himself, but I’d make sure to provide close supervision if you are using these markers with a younger child.
