Larsen Toy Lab Block Set Promises Hours of Fun for Your Child

As far as I’m concerned, every child needs a set of wooden blocks. Blocks can be turned into castles, bridges, ramps for toy cars, and 1,000 other battery-free things that will keep your child happy for hours on end. Wooden blocks are also practically indestructible and much more eco-friendly than their plastic counterparts.

One of the nicest block sets I’ve seen in quite some time is this Block Party building blocks set from Larsen Toy Lab. The set includes 41 quality naked maple and beeswax finished cherry wooden blocks of various sizes, personal name engraving of up to 20 characters, two cotton tote bags for storage, and materials for three games to play with the blocks.

  • Pair Up – a modern twist on a classic memory and matching game
  • Ten Towers – a game that teaches shape recognition and building skills
  • Strike Out – a dice game that favors balance and a steady hand

The set is locally sourced, made by hand, natural, and made in the USA by a family-owned business. It’s recommended for children ages three and up.

I would have loved a set like this when my son was little because I’ve never been very good at coming up with stuff to build with a toddler or preschooler off the top of my head. But, give me instructions for a game to play and I’m a champ at getting my child to sit and play quietly.

The block party building blocks set from Larsen Toy Lab sells for $78 on the AbesMarket.com website. If this is out of your price range, the site also has a few smaller Larsen Toy Lab block sets with personalization options and various activity books.
