Etsy Shop Spotlight: Cyrilla’s Artistic Crochet

I’ve never managed to get the hang of crochet, so I’m always envious of people who have this particular skill. I love the Cyrilla’s Artistic Crochet Etsy shop because it is chock full of unique items.

My personal favorite items from Cyrilla’s Artistic Crochet are the adorable finger puppets inspired by popular children’s books.

She has puppets from The Very Hungry Little Caterpillar, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Wizard of Oz, and The Three Little Pigs. These puppet sets would be fabulous baby shower gifts or special presents for your own child, especially when paired with a copy of the appropriate book.

The level of detail in these puppets is amazing and finger puppets are an excellent way to encourage children to develop a love of reading. When you act out favorite stories together, your child becomes a participant in the story.

And, unlike full sized puppets, finger puppets take up very little room in your home. You can store a whole collection in a shoebox, providing hours of entertainment for any child.

Cyrilla’s Artistic Crochet is owned by Cyrilla Ann Malis from Houston, TX. She’s originally from Trinidad and Tobago. Cyrilla attended art school for two years, studying floral arranging, sewing, painting, embroidery, and cake decorating. She first learned how to crochet at age 15 and enjoys designing original patterns to fit client specifications.
