The Girls’ Cherokee Hattie Boot Is Versatile, Cute, and Warm

Posted on Dec 5, 2013 by No Comments

A good pair of black boots is a staple regardless of your age. My daughter needed a new pair and I didn’t want to spend a fortune since I have a feeling she’s on the verge of yet another growth spurt.

We found these Hattie Boots from Cherokee for $29.99 at Target. They’re borderline edgy, yet classic, thanks to the two buckles, and they also have cute girly additions, too, like the hot pink lining and pink zipper. There’s also a peace sign zipper pull that’s a cute little extra.

They’re almost knee-high, polyurethane (uppers), and they have an 11-inch shaft and .5 inch block heel, which she loves (she desperately wants to wear heels, so she’ll take what she can get).

They aren’t especially slick on the bottom, though we haven’t tested them against snow or ice. The soles are textured thermoplastic rubber. They don’t leave scuff marks, either, which is a definite plus.

Inside, they’re surprisingly warm. They’re not UGG boots or anything, but they’re surprisingly cozy for what they are. Between the warmth, the height, the sole, and the fact that they just look cute and fashionable (if they didn’t, she’d refuse to wear them), I can’t think of anything negative to say about them.

We’ve had them for a couple of months and they seem to be holding up to the wear very nicely. We only need them to last through the end of this winter, and they seem promising so far.
