Sneakz Organics Offers a New Way to Get Kids to Eat Their Veggies
If your children hate vegetables, Sneakz Organic Chocolate Milkshakes offer a unique way to give them the nutrition they need.
Recently, I received samples of Sneakz for my family to try. My nine-year-old son thought the Sneakz Organic Chocolate Milkshakes tasted like coffee.
He doesn’t actually drink coffee, however, so my best guess is that he’s referring to the Jamocha shakes from Arby’s that I’ve let him split with me on occasion. The Arby’s Jamocha shakes are one of his favorite treats, but I’m sure Sneakz are a much healthier choice.
Sneakz is a bit thinner in consistency than a regular chocolate milkshake, but I assure you that it does not taste like vegetables at all. It’s not quite as sweet as most flavored milk drinks, but it has a definite chocolatey taste.
I really like that Sneakz shakes can be stored unrefrigerated because they’ve been UHT processed for a longer shelf life. They taste best when chilled, however.
On the downside, the packaging of Sneakz could use some work. I get that the company wants to promote the health benefits of the shakes, but the “full serving of veggies” in every box and the pictures of carrots, sweet potatoes, and broccoli on the side are a dead giveaway to your kid that this is not an actual chocolate milkshake.
The first thing my son did was read the box and demand 50 cents for agreeing to be my “test dummy.” If you’re trying to pull a fast one on a veggie hating child who is old enough to read, I suggest pouring the drink into another container and hiding the box.
