Sahale Snacks is dedicated to creating delicious, good-for-you snacks for moms and school-aged kids alike.

The company just introduced a new Grab & Go line, which consists of a 1.5 ounce serving size packet that comes in four flavors.

  • California Almonds + Sea Salt – Whole California almonds, finished with a touch of natural sea salt.
  • Classic Fruit + Nut Blend – Naturally-dried apples and cranberries, mixed with roasted almonds, cashews, and pistachios.
  • Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt – Whole almonds and cranberries, accented by organic honey, toasted sesame seeds, and sea salt.
  • Cashews with Pomegranate + Vanilla – Whole roasted cashews, pomegranate infused apples, and pure vanilla bean.

The California Almonds + Sea Salt are nothing special, but the other snack blends are delicious. The Classic Fruit + Nut Blend is my favorite, because it has a great crunchy/chewy balance. The Cashews with Pomegranate + Vanilla are also really good, although it’s a more unusual combination that might not appeal to picky kids.

All of the flavors are certified Kosher and gluten free. I think they’d be great to slip in your child’s lunchbox, assuming that your son or daughter doesn’t go to a nut-free school.

My son is a bit of a chatterbox and has a hard time eating all of his lunch in the limited time the school allows. Sahale Snacks are easy to eat quickly, but a good source of protein, fiber, and healthy monounsaturated fats to keep him going through the afternoon.

Sahale Snacks can be purchased online via Amazon. You can also find them in stores such as 7-Eleven.
