Inspire Your Son to Pick Up His Socks with a Laundry Punching Bag

I stumbled across this cute find while looking for a punching bag for my son for his birthday. This heavyweight laundry bag is designed to look like a boxer’s punching bag. You can hang it on a hook in the closet. When it’s filled with dirty clothes, it turns into a makeshift punching bag.

The punching bag laundry bag is made from polyester with stainless steel hooks. It measures 39.5 inches tall x 11.75 inches wide x 11.75 inches deep.

I’m tempted to buy this for my son instead of a regular punching bag because it seems like it might motivate him to pick up after himself a little more. If the hamper turns into a toy, maybe he won’t leave his dirty socks all over the floor!

Plus, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if I used it once in awhile to take out my frustration over the never ending mountain of dirty laundry we seem to accumulate.

You can purchasing the laundry punching bag on the Perpetual Kid website for $33.19. Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more. Since Perpetual Kid has a ton of cool stuff for both the young and the young at heart, it wouldn’t be too hard to find something else to buy to hit the $50 mark.

What do you think of the idea of a laundry bag that doubles as a punching bag?

I think it’s a cute idea if it helps keep the floor tidy. My problem is my kids put even clean clothes in the hamper because they are too lazy to fold and return to their dressers.
