Etsy Shop Spotlight: The Hippy Homemaker

Posted on Apr 22, 2014 by No Comments

If you love handmade, natural personal care products, but don’t have the time or the desire to learn how to make your own concoctions, check out The Hippy Homemaker.

This wonderful Etsy shop sells products for your face, body, and hair, as well as natural health remedies like a vapor rub for stuffy noses made with organic extra virgin unrefined coconut oil, beeswax, lavender essential oil, rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, and eucalyptus essential oil.

My favorite item in The Hippy Homemaker shop is the moisturizing hemp body butter. This product contains organic extra virgin unrefined coconut oil, organic unrefined shea butter, organic unrefined mango butter, organic unrefined hemp seed oil, organic refined avocado oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic arrowroot powder, vitamin E, organic rosehip seed oil, and a blend of various essential oils for fragrance.

One jar is just $6.50. Available fragrances include:

  • Twilight Gypsy
  • Dreamcatcher
  • Harvest Moon
  • Bohemi Babe
  • Take a Chill Pill
  • Vanilla Lavender
  • Titania’s Garden
  • Oranges and Clove

The Hippy Homemaker is owned by Christina Anthis, who began creating her natural body and health products after searching for safe ways to overcome her own health challenges and reduce her family’s exposure to potentially harmful chemicals. Her products are made in Plano, TX and she has been selling on Etsy since June 3, 2013.

Despite being a newer Etsy seller, she’s already had about 300 sales and maintains a 5 star shop rating.

In addition to her Etsy shop, Christina also has a great blog of the same name where she discusses green living, natural beauty, aromatherapy, vegetarian cooking, and more.
