If you love caramel apples, you have to try one of the jumbo caramel apples from Mrs. Prindables! These gourmet caramel apples weigh up to 1.5 pounds and are roughly the size of a softball. They come in several flavors, including white chocolate praline, dark chocolate delight, and double chocolate peanut butter almond. You can get plain apples or apples decorated for special occasions like Christmas or Valentine’s Day.

Recently, I received one of the triple chocolate jumbo caramel apples to review. My husband and I both agreed that this was the best tasting caramel apple we’d ever had. The apple itself tasted like it was fresh from the tree. The chocolate was rich and indulgent. The caramel was soft and chewy, unlike some caramel apples I’ve had in the past that made me fear I was going to chip a tooth when I took a bite.

The only thing I didn’t like about the apple we received was that it was incredibly difficult to cut. The jumbo apple would be a fun dessert option for a special meal, but I ended up with chunks of chocolate and caramel all over the place when I tried to cut mine.

We picked up all the broken bits and ate them anyway, but I would have been kind of annoyed if I had planned on serving it to company since it wasn’t nearly as pretty once I took a knife to it.

However, Mrs. Prindable’s does make petite size apples that are more in line with the size of a typical caramel apple. I think I would probably go this route if I was going to order one again so I wouldn’t have to worry about how to cut the jumbo apple properly. There are multiple gift assortment to choose from on the Mrs. Prindable’s website.
