If you’re looking for an all natural vitamin for yourself or your children, check out RDA-12. This product is a 100% all natural, plant-derived multivitamin made with the powdered extract of 12 different fruits and vegetables.

I hadn’t given much thought to the use of synthetic ingredients in my vitamins before, but it’s impressive that RDA-12 has a list of ingredients you can actually pronounce. The product is made from a whole fruit and vegetable blend of apple, beet, broccoli, carrot, cranberry, grape, orange, pomegranate, shitake mushroom, spinach, strawberry, and tomato.

RDA-12 can be purchased as either a capsule or a powder to mix with liquids or shake on to your food. The powder does not affect the taste of your food. It has a slight odor in the bottle, but nothing you’d notice once it’s added to food or drink. Two servings of the powder, which is the recommended dose for an adult, is less than 1/4 teaspoon.

RDA-12 is safe for adults and children over 4 years of age. However, children between 4 and 8 should consume 1 serving per day and children between 9 and 13 should consume 1 1/2 servings per day.

My son has been getting better as far as his picky eating habits go, but I can see how the powder might be helpful if you have a child who hates to take pills and doesn’t eat a balanced diet. I would have loved a product like this for him when he was going through a stage of only eating peanut butter sandwiches and gummy worms.

RDA-12 is free of gluten, yeast, pollen, dairy, nuts, soy, and wheat. However, if you have any allergies, you’re encouraged to contact your physician before taking the product.

Visit the RDA-12 website to order the capsules or powder.

Hmm, I’ve never thought about what makes up the ingredients in our vitamins, either. Something to think about!
