Save Money by Switching to CVS Flushable Moist Wipes
Flushable moist wipes are a must for any mother of young children. I started buying them when my son was being potty trained and discovered they were well worth the investment. It’s much easier for kids to clean themselves up properly with the flushable wipes, so the wipes pay for themselves in terms of the time they save when you’re doing laundry.
CVS Total Home flushable most wipes are made with aloe and vitamin E to be gentle on your skin. They work just as well as any other brand of wipes I’ve tried, but offer a 20-30% savings.
In addition to being cheaper than name brand wipes, the CVS Total Home wipes are made in the USA. I can’t always afford to buy American made products, but saving money and supporting efforts to keep jobs in the United States is a win-win situation in my book.
Like other flushable moist wipes, you do need to be careful when using the CVS Total Home wipes. Flushing too many wipes down the toilet can create expensive clogs in your sewer and septic system. (Check out this article from the Washington Post for details.)
It’s best to tell your kids that the flushable wipes are only for when they need to go #2 on the potty. Have them use toilet paper for everything else.
