Sara Leand, C.E.O. and owner of Sara Snacker Cookie Company, has been baking since she was a little girl. She ran her first cookie company out of her college dorm room as a student at The University of Arizona, selling cookies throughout campus and at local stores.
As a mother of three, Leand is committed to provided tasty treats made with the highest quality ingredients. All Sara Snacker cookies are made without artificial flavors, colors, additives, or preservatives. The cookies are also certified Kosher.
Available flavors include:
- Vanilla Milkshake
- Chip’netzel (a shortbread cookie baked with potato chips and pretzel bits)
- Dark Chocolate Chip’netzel (the original Chip’netzel with a drizzled coating of dark chocolate)
- Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chippy
Recently, my family had a chance to sample the different varieties of Sara Snacker cookies. Our universal favorite was the Vanilla Milkshake cookies. These cookies had a rich creamy taste that was very similar to a vanilla malt from our favorite ice cream shop.
My second favorite cookies were the Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chippy extra peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They were a little dry on their own, but a delicious treat with a glass of milk. These cookies are also Sara Snacker’s first gluten-free offering, so they’re a great choice if you ever need treats to share with someone who suffers from celiac disease or is gluten intolerant.
There is a list of stores that sell Sara Snacker cookies online, but keep in mind that many states aren’t represented. If Sara Snacker cookies aren’t at a store near you, you can buy them through their online store. The assorted cookie collection would be a great holiday gift idea for any hard to shop for people on your list.
