Leesa Mattress Review
The Leesa is a hybrid foam mattress. That means it is designed with different layers of foam in varying thickness and positions to achieve the exceptional comfort and support. With this Leesa mattress, it is constructed from 3 different layers of foam.
Top Layer (comfort) – this layer is constructed from 2.0″ of Avena foam. Avena is a patented foam of Leesa, which can be used an alternative to latex. As such, it reacts as the same way as latex does. It has great bounce, comfort, and cooler than traditional foams. The nice thing is Avena has greater durability than latex.
Middle Layer (support) – this layer is constructed from 2.0″ of memory foam. This layer is designed to provide an exceptional support, pressure relief, and deep compression stability for the mattress. When it is placed under Avena foam, the mattress shows less tendency to absorb and retain heat than placing it on the top of mattress. This means the design of Leesa mattress provides cooler feel for sleepers.
Bottom Layer (foundational) – this layer is constructed from 6.0″ of high density support foam. Due to this high density, this foam acts as a strong foundation for the mattress and supports the above layers.
The cover is constructed from a poly-lycra blend fabric. This unique blend makes the fabric really soft, stretchy and durable. This material is also comparable to those usually used in sportswear. Along with that, it is fairly thick, which provides an extra cushion and softness to the mattress. In addition, the cover is cut from single piece of woven fabric and it is almost 100% seamless.
Aesthetically, the look of Leesa’s cover comes in 4-bar design on the grey scheme. This makes it unique and nice.
