My son is getting to the point now where he wants to know what’s going on all the time. He asks what days he goes to preschool, what days we have our weekly lunch/playdate with friends, what day he gets to go to the bowling alley with me, and on and on. It’s still hard for him to understand hours, minutes, days, weeks, and all increments of time, but he’s starting to understand more. Which is why I can’t wait to purchase a MY WEEK Calendar from 2FishKids.

MY WEEK is the perfect way for me to explain to my son how our days are organized. It is colorful and can be fully personalized around your child’s activities. By using MY WEEK, he’ll start to understand our daily/weekly routines, and even begin to anticipate what the week has in store for him.

MY WEEK is magnetic and can be hung on the refrigerator. It comes with 58 activity magnets (that’s a lot of activities to choose from!), a dry erase marker, and a reusable storage bag.

All you do is use the activity magnets for the things that your child does throughout the week. You can also write directly on the calendar or on enclosed blank magnets for any activities not included. There are even yesterday, today, and tomorrow magnets, which helps put things into perspective for young kids.

I think that if you have small children, MY WEEK is worth checking out. It is $19.99 to purchase it, however I think the expense is small if it works as well as the reviews I’ve read says that it does.

What do you think? Would you try it out with your children?

This seems pretty clever. Love the magnets idea – easy and adaptable. Kids do like a little structure in their lives, so knowing roughly how her day or week shapes up can be helpful and even a little comforting to them. Cool!

My son is all into time himself. What time is it? What day is it? How many days till Sunday? This is a great educational toy to get him.
