Your Child Can Be A Junior MasterChef!
One thing that my 4-year-old son and I have in common is an incredible love for cooking . . . and all shows related to cooking. He helps me in the kitchen, usually when I’m making cookies (and his help consists of stirring and then licking the spoon . . . not necessarily in that order!), and he has shown an interest in helping me grow fresh fruits and veggies in the backyard. He is on his way to becoming a junior masterchef.
Which is why I can’t wait for Christmas to get here! I recently found Junior MasterChef Kitsand I can’t wait to purchase one or two of them for my son!
Inspired by the Junior MasterChef series that is being aired in Australia, Junior MasterChef Cooking Kits are for kids with a passion for cooking. The kits can be purchased through Amazon and include the Junior MasterChef Pancake Kit, Cupcake and Muffin Kit, and the Cookie Kit.
The kits are suitable for kids 5 years and up, and of course, adult supervision is recommended. These kits can be played with as toys, but the cooking utensils are made of silicone material, and can actually be used in the kitchen! One great feature of these silicone utensils is that this material can be heated to high temperatures, but is not hot to touch. So if your child accidentally touches one of the utensils, they won’t get burned.
I really like the Junior MasterChef Pancake Kit.
The kit includes: a mixing bowl, silicone star; heart; and teddy bear shapes to make fun pancake shapes, a silicone and stainless steel spatula, and four pancake recipes.
But the one I can’t wait to buy for him is the Junior MasterChef Cookie Kit. That’s the kit that is shown at the beginning of this post. This is the one that I would want if I were a little girl, and the one that we would use the most. It contains a silicone rolling pin with wooden handles, a silicone baking mat, and star, heart and flower-shaped cookie cutters. So cute and just his size!
Would your child be interested in a Junior MasterChef Kit?
