Yo Drops: A Healthy Snack (But Your Kids Will Think It’s Candy!)

I’m always looking for nutritious snacks to get my kids to eat. Things that taste so good that they won’t realize it’s actually really healthy and good for them. Because when they hear those words, they usually end up running the other way. Which is why I think that Yo’ Drops by Revolution Foods is a FANTASTIC treat!

Yo’ Drops are a “crunchable yogurt” snack and come in three flavors: Mango Mania, Berry Blast and Strawberry Banana-rama. If your kids like those yogurt tubes that you can buy at the grocery store, they’ll love Yo’ Drops.

The drops are made from certified, all-organic, 100% real fruit and yogurt and then turned into freeze-dried drops that look like little candies. There is no added sugar and Yo’Drops are free of high fructose corn syrup, trans fats and artificial ingredients. There’s nothing fake about these “candies” though — they’re just plain good for you!

It’s a easy, portable snack that I know my kids love. They don’t have to be refrigerated, so I always have a stash in my purse. The only drawback to this product is that you can’t find them everywhere — I have to order them online. And while they’re reasonably priced ($3.99 for a 4-pack . . . remember that it’s all natural and certified organic), it’s kind of inconvenient to have to order them online.

I do like that Revolution Foods gives back 3% of net revenues to school lunch programs which deliver fresh meals to under-served schools. So you’re children are eating healthy and helping others to eat healthy, too!

So what do you think? Is this a snack that you would purchase for your kids?

My kids love yogurt but it is hard that it is not easy to travel with. what a great alternative. The flavors sound really good as well. I am always looking for healthy snacks and will have to try these ones for sure.

Hm, would be nice for packing in lunches since they don’t have to be refrigerated!
