Word Search Clock

Word searches are big in our house right now. I have a second grader, and he is absolutely bananas over word searches. Thank goodness, because word searches allow my husband and I to have a relatively peaceful dinner and glass of wine when we’re out at a restaurant!

I’ve also read that word and number games, like word searches or Sudoku, can help the elderly keep their brains nimble. You know – minimize their senior moments?

So when I saw this Word Search clock, I really thought it was a clever idea for all ages.

This clock is 11.5″ in diameter. Instead of having  digits for each hour on the clock, the number word is spelled out and “circled” in the appropriate place on the clock. It takes one AA battery (not included) and is made of lightweight metal.

There are also 14 bonus words to find on the clock, too!

If Grandma or Grandpa likes word searches, they’ll love this clock. Or consider putting it in your kid’s room as a fun way to not only teach telling time, but to reinforce the correct spelling of number words. Plus, when they’re sitting in their room during timeouts, they can stare at this clock and look for the 14 bonus words.

I think the Word Search Clock would even be great as a teacher’s gift!

The Word Search Clock is available on Amazon. A pencil and eraser are not included!
