Wooden Treehouse

Wooden Treehouse

What is it about treehouses? They’ve been enchanting children for centuries.

Is it the idea of stealing away to a place where parents are not allowed? Is it that the room is within nature, suspended above the earth?

It’s no surprise that the Magic Tree House books are such a smashing success.

But what if you don’t have a treehouse-worthy tree in your yard? What’s a mom to do?

You could start by checking out this lovely Wooden Tree House at Bella Luna.

I love the whimsy in this piece. This treehouse is made of 100% reclaimed ash and walnut hardwood. It measures 22″ high by 14″ wide – big enough for fun play, but small enough to store.

The treehouse has three stories, and includes a delicate rope ladder, a basket on a cute pulley system, a tree swing and a third level lookout.

This is the kind of toy that has just enough to it to provide for hours of imaginative play, but doesn’t spoon-feed a child and give them a non-stop stream of fast-paced entertainment. It’s old school…and I love it.

The treehouse ships flat and is assembled in less than a minute using interlocking parts.

Who needs Barbie and all of those annoying plastic little toys when you can have this? And for the same price as one of those maddening Barbie houses – $149.95.

The Wooden Tree House would make a fantastic gift for any child. Read more about it at the website for Bella Luna Toys.

This is CHARMING! Love the treehouse! Clicked on the site to see what size figures would work, and saw they have little gnomes and fairies to buy with it. Lovely idea, but it would be nice to see as much craftmanship gone into these figures as is obviously in the design of the treehouse.

This is super cool. Do NOT show it to my husband or he will instantly buy it.

That’s so fun! And I kind of like the simplicity of the gnome and fairy dolls that you can buy to go along with it. Leaves more to the imagination for the kiddos!
