When my twins were babies and we seemed to go through baby wipes like they were going out of style, I had a hard time finding one that wouldn’t irritate Lila’s sensitive skin. No matter how “sensitive” the wipes we used were, they never seemed to be sensitive enough.

Many times, I ended up just using a napkin and water and then bathing her because that didn’t irritate her skin. I wish WaterWipes were around back then.

When the good people at WaterWipes asked if I’d like to sample these wipes, I said sure. I really didn’t think they’d be much different from any other wipes on the market. I was wrong.

These wipes are preservative-free, biodegradable, and made from renewable sources. They contain only two ingredients: water and grapefruit seed extract. They do not contain any chemicals or fragrances that could cause irritation.

The wipes come in convenient, easy to open packs and when I smelled them, they don’t smell like anything, and to me that’s a good thing. They are great for wiping hands and noses and even on chapped faces. The kids didn’t complain at all that the wipes irritated them.

We are potty training right now, and I’ve been buying those flushable wipes for the kids (seems much gentler than toilet paper). Since these wipes are biodegradable, I knew they could also be flushed. These wipes are fantastic! They are strong and do the job with just one wipe.

You can find WaterWipes on Diapers.com. I expected them to be way more expensive than regular wipes, and I was surprised that they are not (I think they were just $1 more than Pampers for the same wipe count). I will definitely be recommending these to new moms!

Thanks WaterWipes for introducing me to this amazing product!

Looks fantastic! After using scented ones for a while, i come to associate fresh scent with the stuff my kids deliver to their pampers. This will be a welcome change.
