Ulubulu Bibs and Pacifiers

How much time do you think mothers of infants spend washing stuff?

Thinking back to my own first year as a mom, the number had to be staggering.

You wash clothes, burp cloths, blankets, bottles (and all of their associated parts), sippy cups, baby utensils, high chairs, toys, teething rings, butts…and if you’re into cloth diapering? Well, I imagine you double the time.

One of my least favorite things to wash were baby bibs.

All of the mushy baby food seemed to get permanently wedged between the trim piece on the bib and the bib itself. They never felt REALLY clean.

My second least favorite thing to wash were pacifiers, and it’s only because it seemed I did it 8,425 times a day.

A company called Ulubulu is making some bibs that are much easier to clean up than the ones I used 6 years ago.

These are really cute. Designed to look like silly animals (available in several colors), these Silly Bibs are made completely of silicon. They’re BPA free, phthalate free and have a built in crumb catcher.

Because they’re 100% silicon, these bibs are dishwasher safe. Yay! See how there’s no trim piece for baby food to get stuck in. Love that. I also really like the easy closure for the neck that has 3 adjustable sizes.

I would gladly pay $9.99 for a bib I didn’t have to wash myself and could pop in the dishwasher.

Ulubulu makes some pretty darn cute pacifiers, too. And while these still have to be cleaned (darn it!), they’ll make you chuckle while scrubbing. Anyone who’s had a paci kid knows that a paci is, in fact, the best mute button EVER.

Ulubulu makes a bunch of these different “expressions” pacis with hilarious quips like “whine connoisseur” and “no hablo.” Or you can have the area personalized with your child’s name, so they’re not ever confused with another kid’s paci at daycare, preschool or McDonald’s playland (God forbid).

The pacifiers are $4.99 each or you can buy 6 for $20.99. Who only buys one pacifier anyway?

Check out all of Ulubulu’s baby products at their online store.

Cute, cute, cute! I like the bib closures, too. I was always worried with the typical string ties on most bibs that my kid, who liked to try and yank them off, would end up choking himself somehow.

This is the same company that gifted the $17000 diamond pacifier to Brad Pitt and Angelina. They make sure cool stuff!! I love the personalized pacifiers and just order the bottle bands as well. The daycare my daughter goes to requires to bottle bands to be labeled.

Oh..see the diamond pacifier here: http://www.coolpacifiers.com/accessories/diamond-pacifier
