One of my favorite ways to kill time online is browsing through all of the lovely creations people post for sale on Etsy. As the guide to origami at About.com, I often find myself drawn to artists who’ve found creative uses for paper folding.
If you or someone you know is expecting a little girl, consider this adorable baby shower decoration package. These unique origami decorations would be lovely for creating a sophisticated and memorable baby shower experience.
The level of attention to detail in the artist’s work is quite impressive. Her prices, while more money than mass produced baby shower considerations, are quite reasonable considering the investment of time involved in this level of paper folding.
Even though the baby shoe favors are very cute, my favorite part of this package is the flower centerpiece. The flower arrangement, if stored properly, will last for many years and make a wonderful keepsake for the mom-to-be. I would have been thrilled to receive something like this at my baby shower.
The Etsy seller for this unique item is Deborah Loya, who I have no personal affiliation with. Her Each Little Flower shop has received 100% positive feedback, however, and she does take custom orders if you’d like to have baby shower decorations in a different color or need to have a larger number of baby shoe favors.
What do you think of these origami baby shower decorations? When you attend a baby shower, how much attention do you pay to the decorations and party favors?
