Tristyn Capris Are Stylish, Yet Affordable
I’m a little self conscious about the extra pounds I’ve put on over the past couple of years, so I generally prefer to wear capris over shorts during the warmer months. Recently, I had a chance to try out the new Tristyn capri style from Riders by Lee.
I love the dark wash and the detailing on the back pockets, especially the three faux gemstones on each pocket.
The capris were a little tight when I put them on, but they were perfectly comfortable after about 20 minutes. The Slender Stretch feature that is popular in most Riders by Lee styles did seem to flatten out my tummy a bit, which is always a plus.
I also liked that the capris held their shape all day. The Old Navy capris I’ve been wearing are fine until about noon, then they start to droop. By the end of the day, they’re practically falling off my hips.
I know length is a factor for many women when buying capris. I’m about 5’8″ and I think the Tristyn capri is the perfect length for me. If you’re under 5’5″, however, I think you might find them a little too long for you. I’d urge petite ladies to try them on first before buying, even though I know bringing your kids into the dressing room isn’t any fun!
Riders by Lee is a great brand for budget-conscious moms, since most of their styles are priced at under $20. You can find the Tristyn capri and the rest of Riders by Lee’s new spring items at mass market retailers nationwide.
