One of the things I’ve been trying to do recently is to purchase toys for my kids that are not only entertaining, but educational as well. Between the three kids, they have at least a million toys that they never play with. Or rarely play with. And most of them have no educational value to them.

The first thing that I want to buy is this Dinosaur Puzzle Doubles for my 3-year-old son. He is fascinated with dinosaurs right now and enjoys putting together puzzles. But what’s cool about this puzzle is that it is actually two products in one. One side is a giant 50-piece 2 foot x 3 foot floor puzzle. And once the puzzle is completed, it becomes a matching game!
You can play the game in two ways: by Object Recognition (having your child place a game piece over the object on the border once it is located inside the illustration) or by Word Recognition (flip over the game piece and the name of the object appears. As the object is identified in the illustration, place the word game piece over the same object located on the pictures border.) And at only $14.99, I think this is a great deal.
