When you become a mother, you realize very quickly that the days of carrying a cute handbag are over. When you have one baby, you can carry a small diaper bag…when you have twins…or more…all bets are off and you are carrying a ton of gear when you head out of the house. Then attempt to shop at the mall or otherwise and you add other bags into the mix.
That’s where the Mommy Hook comes in.
When my husband and I made our trip to the baby store to pick up some last minute items before we brought our girls home from the NICU, he threw the Mommy Hook on the top and I remember thinking, “What’s that going to do for me?”
Little did I know just how invaluable that little hook would be! It clips right onto your stroller and can hold a large number of bags.
One thing I’m short of as a mother of twins is the option to throw my kids into a cart. There are very few stores that have double carts so I often had to make due with the under carriage (you’d be surprised how many groceries I can stuff under there!) and then when I paid and received my bags, the Mommy Hook is how I carried  them all out.
But, just as a warning, if you use this method for grocery shopping, and let’s say you have gallons of milk and heavier items hanging off of that Mommy Hook on your stroller like I did at one point, be sure to remove all of the bags off of the Mommy Hook first before starting to remove the children.
I made the mistake of leaving the bags on the back end, removed one twin from the front seat and flipped the stroller on it’s back from the weight of the bags with the other twin still sitting in the back seat.
Yes…I win an award for parent of the year.
{Ahem}
Thankfully, she was fine.
She only twitches from time to time.
The Mommy Hook is off the hook. No pun intended. Ok, it was intended.
It is well worth the $6.99 if you have a ton of  gear to schlep around town with your stroller full of children. And if you have more than one stroller, I recommend purchasing extras.
Would you purchase the Mommy Hook?
