I love to cook, and if you look on my counters and in my kitchen drawers you can see I am also a fan of kitchen gadgets. Several of these gadgets I should probably get rid of – they are rarely used and take up lots of space. This doesn’t mean that I quit looking for cool gadgets that make my kitchen more efficient and my cooking more simple…which is why I was excited to find the Joseph Joseph Folding Colander!
This is not an ordinary colander – its award-winning design transforms from a flat surface to a colander in just one step. All you have to do is hold the two handles, push them towards each other and then the flat sheet automatically folds to create a base and four sides. There are clips at both ends that lock the colander into place. When you’re done and ready to store it,  it flattens easily. Simply pop out the four locking clips and open out – voila! It won’t hog up any of your cabinet space!
The folding colander is made out of polypropylene and is dishwasher safe. You can grab one of these wonderfully convenient kitchen tools for around $20.
Another cool Joseph Joseph product? The Rinse & Chop. This hinged chopping board that, when folded, creates a strainer at one end and a chute at the other.
