The Disney Princess Dress-Up Trunk Won’t Last Forever, But It’ll Be Fun While She Has It

My daughter loves this trunk of Disney princess clothing and jewelry. She got it a couple of years ago and is still wearing pieces of it. The others—like little bits of jewelry–have gotten lost and the clothing is borderline too small now because she wears 6X.

If your little girl loves to dress like a princess and she wears a size 4T to 6X, she’ll love having four options to choose from every day (Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, and Aurora), and a ton of jewelry!

I will admit that the quality isn’t ideal (a lot of reviewers mention that on different sites) and the clothing isn’t really modest enough to wear on its own, but I have to disagree with some of the poor reviews.

Kids grow quickly so it probably won’t see more than a few years of use, and the set’s fairly inexpensive considering everything that comes in it. It’s also just for dressing up so I don’t really think the stitching needs to be perfect.

As far as modesty is concerned, we just have her put her costumes on over her regular clothing and she doesn’t mind, so the Velcro closures in the back that don’t ensure that everything stays covered aren’t really an issue.

The cardboard trunk itself is the part that bothered me because it didn’t seem like it’d last long, but it was the least of her concerns, so I got over it. It still hasn’t been completely annihilated, despite turning into a dress-up trunk for all her costumes instead of just the Disney princess skirts, tops, and accessories.

As long as you’re informed about the thin materials, imperfect stitching, and less-than-sturdy cardboard trunk (wow, I made that sound terrible, but really, it’s not!), there’s no reason not to give this a second look.

If you know exactly what you’re getting, you won’t be disappointed. Kids aren’t going to worry about those kinds of things, but they will enjoy playing dress-up and looking like some of their favorite characters.

My girls love stuff like this. They would live in dress up clothes if I let them. Too cute! Who doesn’t want to be a princess every once in awhile? :)
