ZoLi is a company specializing in safe, non-toxic baby products with innovative designs. Recently, I had the opportunity to test out one of the newest additions to the ZoLi lineup: the SUMO Snack Stacker.

Even though my son is old enough that we don’t need to carry special snacks for him when we’re out traveling or running errands, I usually do like to carry our own treats in order to avoid spending too much money on overpriced convenience store snacks. The SUMO Snack Stacker makes it easy to do this.

Each compartment in the series of stackable containers holds up to eight ounces of your favorite snack. It’s great for toting apple slices, carrot sticks, dried fruit, crackers, or homemade cookies.

I’m thinking it would even be perfect for making a family sized homemade “lunchable” meal to take on a summer picnic since each compartment is big enough for a generous portion of meat, cheese, or crackers.

The containers screw together tightly, so I can’t imagine you’d need to worry about them accidentally separating in your picnic basket. The design also takes up minimal space, leaving plenty of room for toting other items as needed.

The SUMO Snack Stacker, like other ZoLi products, is Bisphenol A (BPA) and Phthalate-free. These are common chemicals found in many different plastic food storage containers that have been associated with an increased risk of developing health problems like cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and liver-enzyme abnormalities. The chemicals work their way into your food over time, which is especially troubling when you’re talking about feeding children who are still growing and developing.

ZoLi products are available online or in selected retail stores. Not all retailers carry the full line, however.

I like the size of them and that they screw together rather than just popped on so you don’t lose them in your giant purse or diaper bag. :)

I agree that it’s very handy to have the containers screw together. This is an awesome product, although I’m a little annoyed my son keeps trying to swipe it from the kitchen to use for toy storage!

I have 6 kids and we always seem to be on the go somewhere. I love the idea of not having to shove my kids’ snacks in a plastic baggie. And these are so cute!
