Sugar Booger Kiddie Play Pack
One of the ways that I try to get my kids excited for the start of a new school year is to get them new backpacks. They love being able to make their own choices (within set limits, of course) and engage in a little self-expression. Fortunately, I haven’t hated any of their selections yet – I’m sure come middle school time, that will be a different story!
When my kids were in preschool, though, they kind of struggled with their backpacks. Even the licensed-character backpacks they coveted were way too big for a 4-year-old to lug around. The backpack was nearly as big as they were!
That’s why I really like these Sugar Booger Kiddie Play Packs.
The Kiddie Play Packs are scaled down for a smaller child’s use. They measure 8” x 11” by 4” deep – the size of a sheet of paper. The only problem I see with the size is being able to fit a lunch kit inside.
They have adjustable backpack straps and a carrying handle as well. The exterior of the Play Pack is made of waterproof canvas cotton and is fully machine washable. The interior is nylon canvas.
These cute cases have two pockets – one larger main pocket to carry artwork home, and a smaller zippered pocket for anti-bacterial or small treasures.
Kiddie Play Packs are non-toxic and lead-free, and also include a nametag so your child doesn’t misplace their stuff. Although with as unusual as the Play Packs are, I doubt they’d be mixed up with another kid’s backpack.
The Kiddie Play Packs come in several really cute patterns. The one pictured above is the Dia de los Muertos pattern, which I think is adorable. Other boy-themed patterns are pirate, monsters, dinosaurs and robots. My favorite girl-themed pattern is the Ladybug, but you can choose from peace signs, butterflies, flowers and more.
The Sugar Booger Kiddie Play Packs are reasonably priced at about $15-$20 online. You can purchase Kiddie Play Packs at several different online retailers including Amazon.
