Strollometer Stroller Computer

Strollometer Stroller Computer

The average kid will have worn over 7000 diapers before moving on to potty training.

How many hours of sleep the average mom loses during that same time period is not even quantifiable.

The other thing I wasn’t ever able to quantify was how many miles I paced, walked, strolled, and otherwise traveled with my kid in the stroller.

I know for a fact that I walked a minimum of 5 miles one night when we were staying in a hotel and my then-11 month-old would not stop screaming unless she was being pushed in the stroller.

The Strollometer stroller computer is a nifty little product that takes the guesswork out of your strolling.

Strollometer is a totally wireless, 8-function speedometer. It tracks your current speed, max speed, average speed, trip distance, trip time, daily mileage and time/temperature.

The Strollometer fits any size stroller. You attach the actual machine to the stroller handlebar. You attach another item to the outer wheel – a magnetic strip. A sensor gets positioned over the magnet and voila! You’re ready to stroll.

This would make a really nice baby shower gift for a mom who loves to run…or one who needs to always know how far/long they’ve exercised.

What I don’t know is how this is different from a regular pedometer or why you’d this this versus  a regular pedometer. Admitting this reveals that I am most decidedly not a marathon runner.

The Strollometer is available at many different online retailers for right around $40. Learn more at Strollometer.

Good point about the pedometer. Except that sometimes just jiggling one makes it count steps you didn’t actually take. Not that I did it to up my score or anything … ;)

Or maybe you would use it if you were pushing the stroller while on roller skates? Okay, I really don’t know.

It would be interesting to know how much you rock your baby on a specific night. how much does the back and forth do when a baby wont stop crying?
