I am an avid scrapbooker, so I took a ton of photos when my son was born. One thing we did was photograph him monthly in front of a big stuffed Elmo so you could see how he grew over the course of the year. This made for a pretty adorable photo series, but these stickers from Sticky Bellies would have been even cuter.
Sticky Bellies makes stickers for 0-12 months and 13-24 months in several different designs. Each sticker is a round colorful graphic, with the number on it. You stick the appropriate sticker onto your child’s onesie, then snap your photos. The stickers are nice and big, so they take center stage as a colorful photo prop.
What I love most about this product is that it says the stickers can be removed and reapplied for several photo shoots. This would be a fabulous feature if you’re not the greatest photographer and later discover that your photos are too dark, too light, or just kind of blurry. The only thing you’d need to be careful of is keeping your baby from drooling all over the sticker.
When you’re finished with your pictures, you could mount the sticker onto a solid piece of cardstock to use as a perfectly coordinating embellishment for your baby scrapbook page. If you don’t have much time for scrapbooking, this would be a great way to make a fun page without a huge time investment.
What do you think of the Sticky Bellies line? Is this a product you’d use for taking photos of your baby?
