Sleeping with the Laundry: an Innovative App for Moms Everywhere

Most everyone these days has an iSomething-or-Another. And if you do, you can take advantage of the unique book app called “Sleeping with the Laundry.”

Syndicated columnist Margee Moore has a witty voice and a humorous take on parenting, work, life and the elusive balance; this app is a collection of essays that sum up her thoughts and observations.

While it is considered a “book app,” you can read snippets at a time and never feel like you’re lost. If you’re having a bad day, they serve as a great and quick pick-me-up. With chapters titled “Romance: Keeping it Lively,” “Staying Hip in a Square Pants World,” and “Things Kids Say,” just to name a few, there’s plenty to both read and relate to.

Want a sample? Read this excerpt from Chapter 4: Notes from the Mommy Track. In it, she discusses the transition from DINKS (Double Income No Kids) to SITCOMS (Single Income Two Children or More)….very funny stuff. Although it did leave me wondering, what then are Double Income Two Children or More? DITCOMS just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Want the app for yoursel? Just head to iTunes and search for “Sleeping with the Laundry.” It can be all yours for just $1.99.

Thanks for the great review. You really got to the heart of it. It’s about the funny things happen to all of us as parents. You’ve just gotta’ laugh sometimes to make it through. Sleeping With the Laundry is about saying goodbye to Domestic Divahood and just enjoying the time with your kids and being creative. I hope Sleeping brightend your day and will continue to do so when you need a little humor break!

    Best,
    Margee
