Skidders
I know what you’re thinking. This post is about a pair of underwear gone horribly wrong.
No! It’s about shoes…shoes that don’t skid. Hence the name, Skidders.
Skidders are indoor-outdoor shoes that are designed to give a child extra traction and protection. They’re super lightweight and you can fold them up to throw into a backpack or suitcase.
Skidders come in boy and girl styles with sizes ranging from 12 months up to 4T.
There are several really cute options for girls. I like this cherries model:
And this zebra print with pink accents is adorable.
Here are a couple of neat styles for little boys. Choose from styles like this camo one:
For an edgier style, try the flames.
Or, outfit your little guy in sneakers that aren’t really sneakers.
Skidders are $19.99 a pair.
I am on the fence with Skidders. They’re kind of cute, but they look like a cross between Crocs and socks. I don’t really know why you would buy these in place of normal sneakers, because sneakers have treads, too. And for little kids? I just don’t see these being less of a battle to put on or take off.
What am I missing?
I think they look like they’d make your feet hot and stinky…but the manufacturer’s information says it is “breathable material.”
