One of the most unexpectedly challenging aspects of having a baby is trimming the little one’s finger and toe nails. When your child is just an infant, they are cooperative (do they have a choice?) but their nails are tiny and hard to reach. When your child grows, the nails get easier to trim, but the little one becomes a squirming, moving target.
That’s why choosing the right baby nail clippers is more important than you might think. One of the best on the market is the Sassy: Fun Shaped Soft Grip Scissors & Clippers. The scissors are shaped like a smiling butterfly and the clippers are a small bee.
Both the scissors and the clippers have a rounded, blunt tip so that your little squirmer doesn’t inadvertently get poked. The soft, molded handles allow you to get a comfortable, firm grip – a must when trying to trim tiny nails. The friendly shapes also help to take some of the anxiety away from cutting nails.
In addition to nail trimming, you will find yourself using the Sassy Baby Scissors for lots of other baby tasks like opening diaper packs and the occasional hair trim. You will be using the Sassy Baby Scissors and Clippers from the moment your baby is born all the way through school.

Wouldn’t this encourage children to want to grab the scissors though? As they look like a toy? Not a tiny baby obviously, but when they’re about a year old..
