Do your kids love to paint? Do you cringe at the thought of letting them loose with paint brushes that are sure to drip all over your kitchen table? If so, you need to try Rich Art’s fun painter markers.

Rich Art’s fun painter markers feature washable paint in a bottle with a special sponge tip applicator that eliminates the need for a palette and a brush. This drastically cuts down on the mess factor of painting with small children.

The sponge tip applicator also makes it really easy to create fun polka dot patterns with the paint, which is a great way to make your own decorative paper for scrapbooking, card making, origami, or wrapping presents.

The only bit of warning I have in regards to this product is not to assume that the design means it’s a good idea to allow your children to paint totally unsupervised. My son and I were painting with the markers with no problem, but as soon as I turned my back he somehow managed to pop the sponge top off the yellow marker and send paint splatters flying across the room and onto our cat.

The paint did clean up with soap and water, but it was a hard lesson to learn in regards to the fact that little artists need constant supervision. (Also, trying to wash yellow paint off a gray cat creates one extremely funny photo op!)

Rich Art products can be purchased at major craft stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby, as well as through the Rich Art website. The painter markers can be purchased individually or in multi-packs.
