Have you heard about Goo Gone? It’s a wonderful citrus smelling spray that you use to take the sticky residue off toys and other household items when you’re removing those annoying packaging labels everything seems to have nowadays. It works fabulously well for this purpose, but I recently discovered that this is only the beginning of what you can do with Goo Gone.

As a mom, I often feel like I spend 80% of my time doing laundry. And, for some reason, nobody in my house can hit their mouth when they eat. We have stains of all sorts on our clothes. In one week, I’ll have shirts with chocolate ice cream, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, and fruit punch spilled on them. A few sprays of Goo Gone on the shirts before I wash them works miracles!

Since I learned about Goo Gone as a laundry stain remover, I think I’ve only had to throw away about one or two items I couldn’t salvage. I’ve even managed to get Goo Gone to remove old stains that were washed and dried once before.

Another great use for Goo Gone is unjamming a jammed up paper shredder. We have a shredder in our house that sometimes clogs if I get impatient and try to shred things too quickly. When I spray a little Goo Gone over the blades and wait a few minutes, it works good as new.

Do you use Goo Gone in your home? If so, what uses have you found for this handy product?
