My son is an only child, but I think these wooden sibling plaques are adorable.
The plaques are 36″ wide x 12″ high. The text is digitally painted onto planked fir wood. They have a double D-ring mount, but mounting hardware is not included.
Each plaque is $59 on the Pottery Barn Kids website.
The plaques would be a great room decoration for kids who are sharing rooms or a sweet sibling gift for a child who is about to become a big brother or big sister for the first time. You could also use the plaques as part of a family photo wall in a hallway or stairwell.
The plaques are large enough that they’d look nice placed next to a few 8×10 family pictures or a collage of snapshots of your kids playing with each other.
I love what they chose for the definition on each plaque. I think that every parent hopes that their children will eventually be the best of the friends, even when they’re fighting like crazy over having to share their toys or arguing about who has the bigger bowl of ice cream. I know my brother and I bickered quite a bit as kids, but he’s always been there when it mattered.
What do you think of these plaques? What other cute sibling gift items have you seen online?
