Wait! Don’t get grossed out by the name PooPooPaper.com and then stop reading! Let me tell you what it is first…I think you will be pleasantly surprised! Yes, it is a site full of items made from animal poo poo, that is gross, but it’s also a site that is taking something nobody wants and making some incredible products out of it!
POOPOOPAPER products are natural, recycled and odorless (I read a review from someone who received a photo frame from the site, and she confirmed it’s odorless!) paper products made from poop from a variety of different fiber-eating vegetarian animals such as elephants, cows, horses, moose, pandas, and donkeys.
Why would anybody bother doing this? From the site:
“…these fiber-eating animals eat lots of grass and vegetation everyday and they poop almost as much…Knowing that fibers are the base material used in making pulp for paper production (albeit tree fibers typically), we figured there was a high probability that making pulp and quality paper from poop was not only achievable but that the case for poop as an alternative fiber source to tree-based pulp was a compelling one!”
I laughed when I read it, but you can’t argue with the logic! So I decided to check out the products. The products are fun, eco-friendly and inspirational and they just happen to be made out of poop. POOPOOPAPER products include journals, notepads, albums, frames, bags, stationery, greeting cards, calendars, diaries, etc., in dozens of styles, colors and themes.
Like these beautiful cow POOPOOPAPER roses. They are created with various colors of paper using dyes created from food coloring and each rose is hand crafted onto each stem. There’s even a small gift card attached that says: “THINKING OF POO YOU!”
Gifts like these are priceless! If you have to buy for any of those hard-to-buy-for-because-they-already-have-everything people, this site is the way to go because I can almost guarantee that they’ve never been given poo poo as a gift before!
What do you think of this site? It’s fun, isn’t it?
