Paper Clouds Apparel Offers T-Shirts to Support People with Special Needs

Does your wardrobe need an update? If you’re looking for stylish t-shirts that help a good cause, you’ll want to check out the shirts from Paper Clouds Apparel.

Paper Clouds Apparel sells t-shirts with artwork created by individuals with special needs as a way to raise money for schools, rehabilitation centers, and learning centers that work with special needs individuals.

The owner of the company, Robert Thornton, says he was inspired to start Paper Clouds Apparel after seeing a drawing his mother had received from a special needs girl on her bus route. (Click here to learn more about the story behind this amazing company.)

In addition to helping people with special needs, Paper Clouds Apparel’s shirts are good for the environment. All of the designs are printed on bamboo shirts instead of traditional cotton t-shirts. Bamboo can be grown without all of the pesticides used in cotton production and requires less water to treat.

My favorite Paper Clouds Apparel design is the winter tree bamboo shirt pictured in this post. I love the color and it looks like a comfy shirt to throw on for the days when I’m hanging out around my house. I like the design on their orange blossom shirt too, but I really despise the color orange.

At the moment, it appears Paper Clouds Apparel only offers shirts in adult sizes. Hopefully, they will add children’s sizes in the future. I see several designs on their website that would be cute as shirts for my son or my nieces.
