Pantry spaces can easily become chaotic and cluttered quickly if there isn’t a system in place to keep it all organized and in some kind of general order. I have a few products I use to keep the clutter at bay in my teeny tiny pantry because as a family of five, organization in this tight space is key.

Pantry Organization Product #1 OXO Containers

I have several different sizes of the OXO POP Containers. I use their 3.4 tall rectangle quart container to store all of our cereals (see top shelf pictured above). For our pastas, I use the 2.1 small square container – it holds several boxes of spaghetti.

I have two of the big 4.0 square quart POP containers (not pictured) where we keep our goldfish crackers and veggie straws. Each of these containers has a pop lid which helps seal out the air and keep the food fresh for a lengthier period of time.

Pantry Organization Product #2 Various Lined Rectangular Baskets

This can be any brand that you prefer. My recommendation simply consists of making sure you measure the depth and width of your pantry so you can purchase baskets that will fit within the confines of your space. I liked the idea of having two baskets on each shelf, which worked well because the support beam in the center wouldn’t allow one longer basket. So I measured each side and picked up a basket that fit.

The lined baskets allow for periodic cleaning and refreshing of your space. As a family that moves a lot due to military orders, this works well to lengthen the life of our organizational supplies and justifies picking up baskets that might be of better quality (and turn a bit of a higher price).

Pantry Organization #3 Lidded Old Fashion Candy Jars

I use these to throw loose items like fruit snacks, raisins or cookies and occasionally what they were meant for – candy. This makes it easy for the kids to get to without my help, which can be a good thing…and a not so good thing. Admittedly, these do get moved to a higher shelf depending on what is inside.

With these three products, your pantry will be good to go!

The baskets and containers look great. I think organizing my pantry is a project I should tackle this summer!
