Orbit Baby Stroller Travel Bag

Everyone knows that the Orbit Baby Infant Travel system is the best ever…just watch The Office to see Dwight put the stroller through extensive safety testing (hee hee). All joking aside, Orbit Baby is exceedingly well designed, thought out and usable. But, did you know that they have a travel bag for your stroller when you have to gate check it?
Why, might you ask, is this important? My husband and I are about to embark on our summer vacation and when the subject of bringing our stroller with us on the plane came up, we hemmed and hawed and ultimately decided not to bring ours. I mean, have you ever seen baggage handlers throw bags around? Just think about shoving that last piece of luggage into your car when you’re about to leave and you get the idea.
We, unfortunately, don’t have an Orbit Baby stroller – we have the Phil and Ted’s Dash with the doubles kit (to accommodate our 2 kids). But, if we DID have an Orbit Baby, believe you me I’d get a travel bag so I could gate check it safely.
The bag fits the stroller chassis, stroller chassis + Bassinet, or stroller chassis + toddler stroller seat combinations, so basically all your bases are covered. It has integrated wheels and handles for easy transport and is made with durable nylon fabric. The bag includes zippered pockets, address tag window, and internal separator flap.
And best of all (though I imagine this is more form than function), the bag has a “gate-check” flap and exterior “stroller” screenprinting for so that the guys know that you’re gate checking a stroller. Then again, it wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. But it looks cool, doesn’t it?
Of course, given the price is $180, buying the bag may depend on how much traveling you plan to do, but since the stroller is like a baby chariot, it’d be a shame to damage it.
