Confession: I’m horrible with floss. Trying to floss between tiny little teeth in a tiny little mouth is a chore, but it has to be done. I fell in love with the Oral-B Stages flossers a little while ago, and I’m not sure why it took me so long to notice them because I’ve been using the regular flossers for adults for quite some time.

They make me happy because it’s much easier to use them than regular floss. They make my daughter happy because there are Disney Princess ones (along with Toy Story ones). They make the dentist happy because, well, she’s flossing. Everybody wins.

These flossers are recommended for ages five to seven and are part of the Stage 3 line-up of Oral-B products for kids, but with a little help from mom or dad, these are the perfect solution for three and four-year-olds, as well. My daughter’s four and she can do it herself, but I still like to supervise just to make sure she doesn’t miss any teeth or get a little too enthusiastic and hurt herself.

They’re the perfect size and shape for kids to hold. Because they have characters on them and come in more exciting colors than just the boring old green like the ones in my cabinet, they’re fun to use, setting kids up for a lifetime of good oral hygiene.

The only downside to using the flossers is the cost. They’re about $4.00 per package of 20, so using regular dental floss would be less expensive. If you’re finding flossing to be a struggle, the convenience of using flossers designed for kids may be worth the cost, though.
