Dusting is definitely not one of my favorite household chores. In fact, that’s why I don’t really collect much in the way of knickknacks. The thought of having shelves of tiny objects to dust on a weekly basis does not appeal to me at all.

If you hate dusting as much as I do, you’ll want to check out the Norwex dusting mitt. This handy microfiber mitt slips over your hand so you can quickly dust everything from bookshelves to mini-blinds.

The microfiber latches on to the dust and dirt so it’s trapped in the mitt instead of just being recirculated throughout your home. When you’re done, you can rinse it out with water or use a Norwex rubber brush to clean it more thoroughly. (I’m not a huge fan of the brush, although it is helpful if you have pets that shed and your dusting mitt is full of cat hair or dog hair.)

Don’t use detergent on the mitt or throw it in with your regular laundry because this can interfere with the microfiber’s effectiveness or create major lint issues with your clothing.

Norwex is a direct sales company, so you need to purchase their products through a registered consultant. Their specialty is chemical free, eco-friendly cleaning. Most of the products are kind of pricey compared to drugstore cleaning items, but I can see how they save money over time because you’re not constantly buying cleaning chemicals.

I also know several people with asthma and allergies who say Norwex cleaning tools help provide relief from their symptoms.

Have you tried any Norwex products? If so, what did you think?
