No Place Like Home Nightlight Review

If the dark is too much to handle for your little one and you’re in the market for a nightlight, then here’s a pretty fun one available from Land of Nod called the No Place Like Home Nightlight. This house can either be plugged into the wall for illumination or, when the house part is removed from the charger, the house lights up all on its own and stays lit for up to 8 hours.

You can move the No Place Like Home Nightlight where you need it – no cords, no plugs. In my opinion, that’s really good for the smallest out there who make no distinction between wires, electricity and toys. It’s all fair game to them. And if there doesn’t happen to be an outlet near where you want to place the light you have complete freedom as to where to place it.

That’s why I like this unique light. While I don’t have first-hand experience with the amount of light it gives off, it looks like it might illuminate quite well.

It’s made by OXO who make really great kitchen gadgets, so I’m inclined to think that it’s a quality product. And, with a nod to the environment, they use rechargeable batteries. Ahh, there’s no place like home.

On the downside, at $29.99 the No Place Like Home Nightlight costs a lot more than your standard run-of-the-mill nightlight. Then again, you’ll probably be using it for years and years, so paying a few more bucks for a quality light makes sense.
