New Baby On The Way? You’re Going To Need Some Help

You just had a new baby. You’re tired. Worn out. Not all together with it. But while you are in the hospital, you really don’t have to worry about schedules. The nurses will come in and wake you (if the baby hasn’t already) when it’s time to feed. They bring you any medication you and/or the baby might be taking. They remind you to do the little things you might have forgotten about due to lack of sleep. They are taking care of you so you can take care of your baby.

But then you get home, and you are in charge! If you are a first time mom, this can be very overwhelming and scary. Because you haven’t had a full night’s sleep in days, you can’t remember things. And if you’re the mom of a fussy baby? Not only are you tired, but living in a world of chaos as well.

It can be to keep track of your baby’s sporadic naps and feedings when you are not all together yourself. You end up asking yourself,

What time did I feed the baby?

How long was his last nap?

Did she wake up at 11 p.m. or 3 a.m., or both?

It’s hard to keep it all straight! But baby love carebook can help! It’s a journal and organizer in one. It will allow you to keep a log of your baby’s activities, determine a routine, and also leave a detailed list of instructions for Grandma, babysitter, or Daddy when you need a break!

It’s also a fantastic way to discover if your new baby is allergic to anything or if he has a bad reaction to any foods you might be eating. You write everything down; what baby eats, what you eat if you’re breastfeeding, if the baby has any reactions. It’s like a food diary and will make tracking down the culprit so much easier if the baby has any issues with your breastmilk or the formula.

The ultimate goal of this journal/organizer is to allow Mom to take some time off without guilt or worry.

It has been awarded with the National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, so it really is a valuable tool, and can make a really great gift for any new mom or mom-to-be. And it’s reasonably priced at $40.

I love the idea of this organizer. I haven’t used it myself, but would have thought of it as a fantastic baby shower gift if I had received one. I will definitely be making this my go-to baby shower gift in the future. What do you think?

And don’t think you have to be super organized to be able to use this book. It’s really designed for moms who are NOT organized. (Myself included.) That’s why it works so well!

Sounds brillliant! Maybe I’ll pick one up and keep it handy for the next baby shower — it doesn’t have to be gender-specific! Yay!

I’m sorry, but not for me. as a mom, i can never see myself recording things in such detail. perhaps after i retire and my kids are out of school and in the world on their own.

I think this is a good idea. Sometimes just the act of writing things down can help you remember a whole lot better. When my babies were tiny. I always had a hard time remembering which side I nursed on the last time. I don;t think I would end up writing everything down but I do think I would write down the things I am struggling with.
