My Preschool/Kindergarten Year Keepsake Books

Okay, fess up. How many of you parents have a big old tub that you use to keep all of your kid’s schoolwork and school memories in? I do. It’s easy. When the kiddos bring home something I want to keep, I throw it in the memory box.

Admittedly, there is an even greater portion of their work that mysteriously disappears into the, ahem, circular file when they’re not looking. I just can’t keep it ALL!

The only problem is that now my kids are 7 and 5, and their memory boxes are nearly filled to the brim. The 5 year-old just started kindergarten. What’s an organized woman to do?

Well, that’s where the My Preschool Year and My Kindergarten Year Keepsake Books come in.

These books are filled with 24 pages in which you can catalog and document all of the important highlights of your child’s preschool and/or kindergarten years. Here’s a look at the Kindergarten Year Keepsake Book.

The front of each book has a cute cover with children’s-themed images and lettering.

These are sort of like baby books, only for school. Some of the pages have prompts for you to record things like the names of their classmates, their class routines, best field trip, happiest memory and more. There are also photo sleeves included so you can store up to 20 4×6 photos of the school year.

But let’s not forget that artwork and worksheets – you need room for those, too! There are 2 colorful pockets in which you can place some of your child’s best work.

I think these keepsake books are a really unique gift for any mom who has a child just starting preschool and/or kindergarten – especially moms like me, who don’t do any sort of formal scrapbooking. I hate being left with a messy memory box!

I just wish they made these Keepsake Books for all grade levels!

You can purchase the My Preschool Year or My Kindergarten Year Keepsake Books at The Afternoon. They’re only $15.95, too – a great value!
