My Favorite Things Flash Cards Make Learning Fun

Posted on Mar 5, 2010 by No Comments

San Francisco artist Lorena Siminovich, in conjunction with Chronicle Books, has created Chronicle Books>My Favorite Things, a delightful series of flash cards to help your toddler learn her ABCs. Each flash card is simple, yet colorful beautifully made.

Siminovich uses apples, birds, horses, castles and other “favorite things” to bring the alphabet to life. The images are simple but brightly colored to hold a tot’s attention.

Each flash card measures 6-7/8 x 5-1/2 x 1-5/8 in. They are recommended for kids 0 to 3, though realistically your child probably won’t get much out of them until after age 1.

The cards are printed on thick sturdy board making it easy for little hands to hold, but tough for them to destroy. The flash cards are so lovely you could even use them to decorate a child’s room.

If you’re looking for a stylish way to get your child more familiar with the alphabet, My Favorite Things Flash Cards are a great addition to your library.
