Munchkin makes many unique baby products, but I think one of the best ideas I’ve seen in a long time is these outlet protectors that double as room deodorizers filled with Arm & Hammer baking soda.
As we all know, nurseries tend to have a bit of a funky odor to them. Even if you invest in a top of the line diaper pail and clean religiously, your little bundle of joy can make some really unpleasant smells. Of course, this problem is compounded if you also have older children or pets.
Each Munchkin package includes two deodorizers and two standard plug protectors so you can customize your use as needed. They retail for about $6 a package. They are widely available in most discount stores, as well as through major online retailers like Amazon.
Having a product like this would definitely have been handy when my son was still in diapers. I doubt it would have eliminated the need for the fancy diaper pail, but any extra freshness boost would have been much appreciated during this time.
What I like about the Munchkin plug protectors is that they are fragrance free. This makes them great for homes with people who have fragrance allergies or sensitivities. Or, if you like to use scented oils, candles, or other types of air fresheners in the other rooms of your house, this means that the Arm & Hammer product won’t overpower these scents.
