MomME Weekly Planner

I’ll admit it, I like to be as organized as I can as a busy mom. I’m not always successful, but I make a little effort. Sometimes, I buy organizational products with the intent of improving my organizational skills…and they get left somewhere…usually a very unorganized closet!

Online calendars and tools have gotten really popular, but I still find printed calendars and planners the most effective way for me to stay on top of my schedule. Even then, I manage to forget to show up to help my son’s teacher every now and again!

I really like this MomME weekly planner idea. It has 52 sheets, one for each week of the year. The left column is divided into several sections, events/birthdays, errands and daily schedule. Then at the bottom, there’s a separate section called “Me Time” where moms can list other things like healthy dinner plans, workout logs and household chores.

The very bottom of each sheet has a log for you to check off whether you’ve taken your daily multivitamin and track how many bottles of water you’ve had that day – very cool feature!

The right side of the planner has a shopping list area and a spot to move notes forward from the previous week or make notes for the future.

The MomME planner sheets are about 9 inches by 12 inches and are printed on recycled materials with soy-based inks. Yay!

The MomME Weekly Planner costs $19.95 and can be purchased at Lobotome.

Every year I go on a quest to find the perfect mom/organizer calendar! My current fave is the cute, large Motherword one with loads of quickie stickers to pop on that remind you of everything from early school dismissal to changing your fire alarm batteries. My kids like adding stickers for special days and birthday parties; and they are bright enough to jump out at you so you don’t ignore them. The strong magnets adhere to the back and actually stay up on the fridge the whole year.

But I’m open to finding next year’s calendar to see if it’s even better!
