My son’s birthday is coming up soon, so I’ve been busy searching for inexpensive yet cool products to surprise him with. One of my latest finds is Brick Stix Mod Stickers.

This definitely falls into the “Why didn’t I think of that?” category of products. My son loves to customize his Lego bricks. He is forever running off with my paints, markers, and glitter glue to somehow personalize his latest Lego sculpture. Removable and reusable stickers are just what he needs to make the most of his creative impulses without creating a big mess for me to clean up.

Brick Stix Mod Stickers are available in several different designs, including comics, zombies, medieval characters, and WWII. Most of the sets include several options for minifigure customization, which seems to be the favorite part of playing with Legos for my son and his friends.

Another thing I really like about these stickers are that the comic set comes with dry erase compatible bubbles that you can use to write your own words and phrases on. I can see a ton of possibilities for creating Lego comics with this product.

For example, your child could make a Lego “Happy Birthday” scene that you could take a picture of and print on a postcard for Grandma and Grandpa. If you’re extremely computer savvy, you could even put together a Lego comic video using the stickers and your child’s Lego scenes.

You can learn more about this cool product on the Brick Stix website or find a retail store near you that carries the Mod Stickers.
