Mo-Mo Blankie

Mo-Mo Blankie

When you’re a mom to a little one, you have to get creative about where and how to get your exercise in.  Gotta lose that pregnancy weight, right?

Leg lifts at the changing table are always popular, as is using your baby to do bicep curls.

My favorites were always the deep squats to pick up the dropped pacifier. Yes, I counted that as exercise and you should, too. Anything you do over 100 times in a single day should count for something.

But there are some baby-product manufacturers out there who are hell-bent on ridding us of our precious excuses for workouts.

I present for your consideration the Mo-Mo Blankie.

It’s a baby blanket AND pacifier holder.

Yes, it’s super cute.

The Mo-Mo Blankie is a 14” by 14” 2-sided blanket. One side is soft satin charmeuse; the other is made of something called Ultra Cuddle Plush Minky. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds pretty darn comfortable.

On the satin side is attached a ribbon/velcro pacifier loop. So unless baby drops the blanket too, that paci’s not getting very far. I remember my kid’s paci getting lost in the space between the crib mattress and the side of the crib and boy, I’d have given my right arm to prevent that from happening!

The Mo-Mo Blankie comes in several different colors and patterns. You can pick either the cow or giraffe pattern in blue, pink or green.

At $18, this blanket makes a great baby shower gift, too.

Go check out the Mo-Mo Blankie.

Mo-Mo Blankie, my gluteus maximus thanks you.

I would think this would be far too much for a baby to manage by itself. I guess it is more for toddlers? But then that’s opening the whole debate about should kids who walk and talk and have teeth still be using a pacifier?

As far as lost binkies, I found it was always easier to put two or three of them in the crib so if baby lost one, she could easily find another one within grasp.

I can see my toddler loving the blanky paci combo. Great thing, but i just shudder thinking how to wean him.
